Meet the Team
Whether you are learning about us for the first time or have been a part of our dental family for 20 years, we are glad you’ve found us. The first thing you will notice when you walk into our office is the friendly and inviting atmosphere. Members of our staff have been hand-picked to provide you the best possible experience during your visit to the dentist. Our primary goal is to deliver excellence in dental care. Our commitment to you is to provide pain-free, gentle dentistry. Our team is proud to serve the University, North Charlotte, Concord and Harrisburg Area.
James Todd Bullard, DDS
Dr. Bullard earned both his bachelor’s degree in chemistry and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Go Heels!) Always interested in furthering his knowledge, Dr. Bullard regularly participates in Continuing Education and is a member of the ADA, the NC Dental Society, as well as the Charlotte Dental Society.
Dr. Bullard’s patients love his thorough but gentle approach to dentistry. He makes patients feel relaxed with his calm demeanor, while providing only the highest quality care. When you make Todd Bullard Family Dentistry your dental home you will learn first-hand that your care is his commitment.
On a day away from dentistry you will find him cheering on the Carolina Panthers, the Charlotte Hornets, and the various college teams that his daughters represent. However, it is no secret that his blood runs Carolina Blue! With a strong devotion to his Christian faith, Dr. Bullard is thankful to call Elevation Uptown & University his home church. He spends most of his time outside the office with his wife, Anne, and their three daughters. He also loves reading, running, and the South Carolina coast.

Shana
Dental Assistant
Shana began working for Dr. Bullard in l999. We’re thankful to have her skills and friendly presence on our staff! She loves making our patients feel comfortable and helping them to understand their treatment. Building relationships with her patients is important to Shana, and she finds their trust important and rewarding. Shana and her husband have three daughters. She values her time with her family, her church, and being outdoors.

Angela
Dental Assistant
Angela has been working with Dr. Bullard since 1994. Angela feels that listening, educating and serving our patients ensures that they consistently have a positive experience in our office. Most rewarding to her is seeing a patient leave with a confident smile and empowering them to take control of their dental care. Angela keeps busy with her two sons and enjoys exercise, drawing, painting and crafts.

Karen
Dental Hygienist
Karen has been working with Dr. Bullard since 2009. Her patients love her kind demeanor and her commitment to excellent care. She has a passion both for the oral health and general well being of her patients. Karen loves the patient relationships she has built over the years and finds it rewarding to help others improve their health. Karen has three grown children and loves to spend time with her family. She also enjoys reading and being outdoors
Michelle
Dental Hygienist
Michelle has been an important member of Dr. Bullard’s team since 2017. She originally joined us in a part-time hygienist position and is now is full-time and a great co-leader of our hygiene department. Michelle’s commitment to continuing education and bringing this knowledge to our team makes her an important member of our dental practice. Outside of the dental office, Michelle loves spending time with her husband and boys. We are lucky to have her!
Dr. David Scott
DDS
Dr. Scott is a part of our practice on Wednesdays, managing our hygiene and periodontal program. A graduate of the University of Tennessee Dental School, Dr. Scott and his wife have two grown children. He enjoys cycling, reading and spending time with his two grandsons.
Ashley
Front Desk Personnel
Ashley joined us in 2017. She has worked in the dental and medical field since 2010. She is detailed oriented, very knowledgeable about insurance, and always willing to go the extra mile to help our patients. Ashley has a busy life with her husband and two small girls. Her commitment to our team and office makes it a better place.
